Personal data we collect

We collect only the information reasonably needed to operate the website, respond to you, and deliver the service or event you request.

  • Contact and service requests: full name, email address, optional phone number, organization, subject, message, requested service, preferred language, and the page from which the request was sent.
  • Event registration: full name, mobile number, email address, preferred language, event identifier, registration time, and delivery status of the confirmation email.
  • Technical and security data: IP address, browser user-agent, request time, server logs, source page, and information needed to detect spam, rate-limit requests, diagnose errors, and protect the service.
  • Cookie choices and analytics data: your consent settings and, only if you allow analytics, aggregated information such as viewed pages, general device/browser type, approximate region, referrer, and completed form events.
  • Correspondence: information you provide when you email, call, meet, or otherwise communicate with us.

Please do not send passwords, payment card details, government identification numbers, health information, or other sensitive personal data through public website forms.

How we obtain your data

Most personal data comes directly from you when you complete a form or communicate with us. Technical data is generated automatically when your browser connects to our website and API. We may also receive business contact information from your organization, a colleague who refers you, or a publicly available professional source, where lawful and relevant.

Why we process personal data

We use personal data only for defined business purposes and under an appropriate legal basis, including your consent, taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, complying with law, or our legitimate interests where those interests do not override your rights.

  • Responding to enquiries, evaluating needs, preparing proposals, and providing requested services.
  • Registering attendees, administering events, sending access links and operational updates, and supporting participants.
  • Sending acknowledgements and service-related communications that you reasonably expect.
  • Operating, securing, testing, troubleshooting, and improving the website and its forms.
  • Measuring website performance and form completion after analytics consent, without sending the content of form fields to analytics.
  • Maintaining business, tax, compliance, dispute, and fraud-prevention records where required or reasonably necessary.

We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not use contact or event details for unrelated advertising unless we first obtain the consent required by applicable law.

Automated decisions and profiling

We do not use website data to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. Automated controls may reject obvious spam, duplicate event registrations, or excessive requests; a person can review a genuine request if you contact us.

Who may receive personal data

Access inside Tamahwour is limited to authorized team members who need the information for their work. We may also use carefully selected service providers acting on our instructions.

  • Website, API, database, cloud infrastructure, security, backup, and technical support providers.
  • Resend, which processes contact, acknowledgement, and event registration emails on our behalf.
  • Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, or authorities where disclosure is necessary to comply with law, protect rights, or handle a dispute.
  • A buyer, investor, or successor in a genuine corporate transaction, subject to confidentiality and applicable legal requirements.
  • Google Analytics only when a measurement ID is configured and you have allowed analytics cookies.

A Microsoft Teams access link may be sent to a registered attendee. We do not provide the contents of your registration form to Microsoft merely by emailing that link.

International data transfers

Some technology providers may process data on infrastructure outside the United Arab Emirates. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we assess the destination and provider and use appropriate contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards required by applicable UAE data protection law.

How long we keep personal data

We retain information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, then delete or anonymize it unless a longer period is required for legal, accounting, security, or dispute purposes.

  • Contact and service enquiries are normally reviewed for deletion or anonymization within 24 months after the last meaningful interaction.
  • Event registration records are normally reviewed within 12 months after the event, unless they are needed for follow-up requested by the attendee or for business records.
  • Security and server logs are normally retained for a short operational period, usually no more than 90 days, unless an incident requires longer preservation.
  • The cookie-consent record stored on your device expires after six months, after which we ask for your choices again.

How we protect personal data

We use proportionate technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted transport, access controls, authenticated administration, input validation, rate limiting, logging, backups, and restricted access to production systems. No internet service is completely risk-free, so we also maintain procedures to investigate and respond to suspected incidents.

Your data-protection rights

Subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law, including UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, you may have the following rights:

  • Receive information about our processing and request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Request deletion, restriction, or cessation of processing in appropriate circumstances.
  • Request transfer of personal data in a usable format where the legal conditions apply.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.
  • Object to certain processing and request human review of a qualifying automated decision.
  • Submit a complaint to the competent UAE data-protection authority where that route is available.

To protect you, we may ask for information to verify identity before fulfilling a request. We aim to respond without undue delay and will explain if a legal exception applies.

Children’s privacy

This website and our general business services are not directed to children. A parent or legal guardian should contact us before providing data about a minor. If we learn that personal data was submitted by a child without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised text here and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use previously collected data, we will provide additional notice or seek consent where required.
